Our History—A Legacy of Care and Compassion

The Vision of Dr. G. Michael Nauert

In 1975, Dr. G. Michael Nauert founded Woman’s Health Centers with a deep passion for serving women in need. As an intern in the emergency rooms of major hospitals, he witnessed:

❌ Women suffering from life-threatening infections (sepsis) due to unsafe, illegal abortions.
❌ Cases of
severe hemorrhaging requiring emergency intervention.
Fatalities that could have been prevented with safe, legal medical care.

Driven by what he saw, Dr. Nauert dedicated his life to providing women with safe, accessible, and compassionate reproductive healthcare.

Even after his passing on April 26, 2007, his mission lives on through the work of our three clinics:

Tampa Woman’s Health Center
Bread & Roses Woman’s Health Center (Clearwater, FL)
St. Petersburg Woman’s Health Center

For over 30 years, we have been recognized by the National Abortion Federation (N.A.F.) for providing excellence in reproductive healthcare.

Licensed & Experienced Medical Professionals

Woman’s Health Centers are fully licensed medical care facilities, where all abortions and reproductive health services are performed by:

Qualified, licensed OB/GYN specialists with specialized training in abortion medicine.
